Festuc Teatre presents 'La niña de la jungla' at Teatro Ayala

Festuc Teatre invites families to enjoy 'La niña de la jungla' at Teatro Ayala. The performance will take place tomorrow, 17 October, at 18:00.

This children's and family show, part of the Red de Artes Escénicas y Música de Castilla-La Mancha, combines acting, puppetry, and a changing set design to engage audiences with a story aimed at entertaining both young and older viewers.

Pere Pàmpols, the artistic director of the company, highlights the dynamic and visual nature of the production, which offers different interpretations depending on the age of the audience. The narrative follows a girl raised in the jungle by gorillas, who must learn to navigate an environment where she feels out of place. Through this adventure, 'La niña de la jungla' addresses themes of acceptance, integration, and the quest to find one's place in the world.

Pàmpols explains that the aim is for audiences to enjoy the performance while leaving with questions to discuss and reflect on as a family. With nearly 25 years of experience, Festuc Teatre focuses on family theatre that treats children as capable spectators who can understand and reflect, while also providing deeper meanings for adults.

The company blends music, puppetry, and handcrafted scenic elements to create a theatrical universe that, according to Pàmpols, retains the magic of live performance. He encourages families to share the theatrical experience across generations, including grandparents and grandchildren, and reminds them that engaging with culture allows for the discovery of stories, the awakening of curiosity, and the sharing of emotions.

Tickets are still available for purchase on the Globalentradas website and will also be sold at the box office one hour before the show starts. The ticket price remains at €3.
