Galicia calls for flexible electrical planning to meet industrial demand

María Jesús Lorenzana, the regional minister for Economy and Industry in Galicia, has highlighted the necessity for more flexible electrical planning to ensure that new industrial demands can be met promptly. Speaking during a parliamentary session, Lorenzana stressed that such flexibility is crucial so that "when a project arrives, it does not have to wait for the next planning cycle, but rather can be accommodated to meet the needs of industry and the region."

She further advocated for this flexible approach to be aligned with the development of industrial land across each autonomous community in Spain.
