On 16 October, the study rooms of the José Riquelme municipal library in La Línea will be open from 09:00 to 20:00, while inventory work is conducted. The library will resume its regular hours on Monday, 19 October.

This month, in celebration of Library Day, the library has organised a selection of books themed around Halloween and All Saints' Day, titled "Lecturas para pasarlo de Miedo" for children and "Lecturas para no dormir" for young adults, which will be available from 20 to 30 October.

Additionally, on Thursday, 29 October, at 18:00, a children's storytelling event named "La Biblioteca Encantada" is scheduled, along with various workshops in the children's area. Participants are encouraged to dress as their favourite characters. Registration for these activities, open to children aged three and above, can be completed at the library.

On Saturday, 31 October, at 19:00, a theatrical performance of Don Juan Tenorio, a tale by Doña Inés de Ulloa, will be presented by the Serendipia Global Company. Registration for this event will be available at the library from 10:00 on Wednesday, 28 October, until 14:00 on Friday, 30 October, or via email at biblioteca@lalinea.es.
