The 2026 edition of the Literary Awards of Alzira (Premis Literaris Ciutat d’Alzira) has commenced with the unveiling of the finalists for the Didín Puig Award. This year, the awards are particularly focused on fostering community participation and celebrating living culture.
The awards, organised by the local council of Alzira, aim to promote literary talent and cultural engagement within the community. This year's events also include cultural activities dedicated to the Year of Jaume I, a significant figure in the history of the Valencian Community.
The initiative reflects a broader commitment to enhancing cultural life in Alzira, encouraging residents to engage with literature and the arts.
