The city council of Logroño has announced the launch of the xi concurso de becas inicia, a municipal initiative designed to support the talent, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit of young people in the region. The programme will provide funding for artistic and cultural projects, offering ten scholarships of €1,500 each.
Laura Lázaro, the councillor for youth, made the announcement alongside Andrea Méndez Escribano, a recipient of a scholarship from the previous edition. Lázaro emphasised the importance of these scholarships, stating, “With the becas inicia, we want to provide the young people of Logroño with an opportunity to develop their ideas, explore their creativity, and carry out projects that often need an initial boost to become a reality. We aim to support their talent and help them find spaces and resources to express their artistic capabilities.”
