The Government of Navarra has approved a new funding initiative aimed at promoting local film and audiovisual productions. This initiative, known as Generazinema, was announced during a recent session of the regional government and is designed to encourage participation from companies and professionals in the Navarrese film sector at festivals, markets, fairs, and professional events.
The 2027 funding programme is set to provide a total of €20,000, which will be allocated through individualised evaluations based on criteria that will be published soon in the Official Bulletin of Navarra (Boletín Oficial de Navarra, BON). The aim of these grants, managed by the General Directorate of Culture - Príncipe de Viana Institution, is to enhance the professionalisation of the Navarrese cultural sector and to promote its visibility on an international scale.
