Universitat Jaume I in Castellón has launched its Welcome Week, which will run from 26 to 30 October 2026 on the university campus. The event includes a variety of cultural, educational, and recreational activities organised by the Student Council.
Throughout the week, attendees can participate in talks, workshops, and health initiatives, including the Cursa a Peu contra el Càncer, a charity run against cancer, accompanied by performances from the Banda UJI. Additionally, there will be ongoing activities such as an association and services fair, a games corner featuring foosball and billiards, sports activities, book donations, food collection drives, and a food truck fair.
Each afternoon, the programme will be enhanced by performances and shows on the Agora stage, including UJI Talent, and acts by Liz Dust, Toni Rodríguez, La Choriza May, Toni Pons, and Óscar Tramoyeres. A new addition this year is the I Tardeo, scheduled for Thursday, 29 October.
