XII edition of catArte to take place in November with wine, music and solidarity

The XII edition of catArte, a charitable initiative, will take place at the Marcos Valcárcel cultural centre on 5, 12, 19, and 26 November. This event will showcase a selection of wineries from the D.O. Ribeiro, complemented by musical performances and a commitment to solidarity through the Diego González Rivas Foundation.

Organised by the C.R.D.O. Ribeiro and the Centro Cultural Marcos Valcárcel, catArte has established itself as a platform that merges culture, wine, music, and charity. Attendees can look forward to four gatherings that offer a unique experience combining wine tasting with live music and support for a charitable cause.

The first event on 5 November will feature the winemakers Casal do Canteiro and Pousadoiro, along with a musical performance by Iago Vázquez. On 12 November, the C.R.D.O. Ribeiro will present its institutional wines, accompanied by Lois Alonso, a singer from Luar 2026. The event on 19 November will include Casal de Armán and a performance by the band Soul&Roll, while the series will conclude on 26 November with Bodega Alanís and DJ Álvaro Alonso. Each session will also include a selection of culinary snacks.

Throughout its twelve editions, catArte has promoted the intersection of winemaking culture and musical offerings, creating a space for community engagement where participants can discover wines, enjoy music, and share experiences. This initiative also aims to enhance the visibility of Galician wine culture and stimulate cultural activity.

This year's edition places a significant emphasis on solidarity, with proceeds directed to the Diego González Rivas Foundation, which supports humanitarian efforts. Tickets for the charitable events are priced at €9. With this twelfth edition, catArte reaffirms its commitment to an open, participatory, and charitable culture, where wine and music serve as a meeting point for cultural enjoyment and support for a worthy cause.
