In a bid to promote the Catalan language and culture, the Catalan Office in Figueres has scheduled a variety of activities for the final quarter of 2023.
Upcoming events
- 9 November: Inauguration of the exhibition "Cuando hablas haces magia" at the Hospital, part of the VxL initiative, promoted by the University of Girona (UdG) and supported by the Catalan Language Consortium (CPNL).
- 29 October and 12 November: Awareness sessions at the Bon Pastor nursery.
- 4 November: Presentation of the 24th edition of the VxL programme in penitentiary centres in Figueres.
- 25 November: Improvisational theatre workshop at the Toy Museum for students.
- 2 December: Singing of traditional Catalan songs at the Cercle Sport Figuerenc.
- Additionally, a children's film cycle in Catalan will be featured.
These initiatives aim to engage the community and foster a deeper understanding of Catalan culture and language.
