la ludwig band
Described as prolific, virtuous, and carefree, la ludwig band has made a significant impact on the Catalan music scene with their sophisticated lyrics and sharp irony. Their latest album, Pel barri es comenta, released in 2026, features thirteen tracks and showcases a more evolved and coherent sound that leans towards popular music while retaining the essence of their unique style. This theatre tour promises a more intimate experience, allowing audiences to enjoy seated performances of songs that may not fit the traditional standing concert format. The band consists of Gabriel Bosch (guitar), Quim Carandell (vocals, guitar), Roger Cassola (drums), Pau Esteve (keyboards, guitar), Andreu Galofré (bass, guitar), and Lluc Valverde (saxophone, keyboards).
sau
Sau returns to Reus with Un concert de pel·lícula, an engaging show that takes audiences on a journey through the band's history, featuring memories, images, and songs. The performance will evoke intimate moments and memorable concerts, including experiences from their early days in Les Tallades, Vilanova de Sau. A large screen will display significant images and exclusive content related to the tour. The original band members Carles “Xarli” Oliver (drums), Pep Sánchez (bass), and Ramon Altimir (keyboards) will reunite, alongside Josep Lluís Pérez (guitar) and Pep Sala (vocals, guitar, piano). Although the late Carles Sabater will be missed, modern technology will allow for his presence during this emotional journey. The concert is scheduled for Sunday, 6 December, at 19:00 at the Auditorio Antoni Gaudí.
llach – gener 76
January 2026 marked the 50th anniversary of Lluís Llach's historic concerts at the Palau dels Esports in Barcelona, which transcended music to become symbols of freedom and collective hope. The Llach – Gener 76 show aims to recapture the spirit of those performances, featuring musical direction by Manel Camp, who was responsible for the original arrangements in 1976. This project also includes Santi Arisa, a drummer from the original formation, and the band comprises Lluís Ribalta (drums), Txabi Ábrego (guitars), Jordi Gas (bass, vocals), Anna Bosch (keyboards), and Marta Albiol (flute). Leading the vocals will be Gemma Humet and Joan Reig, both renowned for their connection to Llach's repertoire, ensuring a respectful and powerful reinterpretation of his songs. Llach – Gener 76 will perform at the Auditorio de firaReus on Tuesday, 8 December, at 18:00.
