José López Campos, the Galician Minister of Culture, Language and Youth, alongside Belén do Campo, the delegate of the Xunta in A Coruña, praised the Fundación Barrié for its ongoing contribution to cultural enrichment in Galicia. This statement was made during the opening of the exhibition Bosch and Bruegel: A Journey to Fantastic Worlds, which will be on display at the foundation's venue in A Coruña until 24 January.
During the event, López Campos highlighted the importance of Galician cultural institutions in bringing premier international exhibitions to the region. He noted that this particular exhibition features 85 engravings, etchings, and woodcuts from the collection of the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam. The selected works connect the visual universes of both artists, providing insights into engraving techniques in Northern Europe during the 16th century.
