The Eivissa City Council is set to unveil its new promotional campaign, "¿Conoces Ibiza? Ahora descubre Eivissa" (Do you know Ibiza? Now discover Eivissa), at the World Travel Market (WTM) in London. This initiative aims to position the city as a unique tourist destination, focusing on three main pillars: culture, heritage, and gastronomy.
The campaign seeks to promote the identity of the island's capital and introduce a proposal that extends beyond the traditional sun and beach offerings. Accompanying the campaign will be the song "Viatjarem" by the Mallorcan group Xanguito, which aims to convey the essence of the city and connect visitors with its identity, toponymy, culture, gastronomy, and customs.
Eivissa will have its own stand measuring 116.5 square metres at the ExCeL London exhibition centre, located at space S4-300. Participants will include the Tourism Promotion Department of the Consell, as well as the municipalities of Eivissa, Santa Eulària des Riu, Sant Josep de sa Talaia, and Sant Antoni de Portmany, alongside various local tourism businesses.
This year's participation will particularly focus on the presentation of "Ibiza Revelada" (Ibiza Revealed), a new programme aimed at interpreting and activating the island's historical, cultural, and natural heritage. Additionally, the initiative "Ibiza Family Moments" will continue, designed to enhance and adapt Eivissa's offerings for families.
The "Ibiza Revelada" campaign invites both residents and visitors to explore the island's heritage and identity through a selection of 98 points of interest spread across the territory, connected by four major thematic lines. The programme will include a physical support consisting of a case with four printed maps, allowing individuals to plan their visits over one or several days across different municipalities.
The Consell will also hold a working meeting with tourism companies and representatives from Eivissa who are attending the event in London, to share the latest developments regarding Ibiza Family Moments. This initiative aims to reinforce the island's positioning as a suitable family destination and adapt its offerings to meet the current needs and expectations of this market segment.
According to data from AENA, between January and September 2026, Eivissa welcomed 857,172 passengers from the United Kingdom, marking a 1.27% increase compared to the same period in 2025. The average satisfaction rating for their holidays stands at 90 out of 100, reflecting the strong connection between Eivissa and its primary international market.
