The 'dones d'aigua' exhibition has closed with a total of 4,080 visitors, underscoring the strong interest in this artistic proposal and reinforcing Espai Caldes as a key cultural venue in Escaldes-Engordany. The exhibition, which blended poetry and painting, invited attendees to explore a creative concept linked to water, an element deeply intertwined with the identity and history of the parish.
The appeal of Project Caldes, located in the historic area, has further boosted visitor numbers to this cultural facility. Valentí Closa, the cultural councillor, expressed satisfaction with the attendance figures, noting that the positive response from the public is also tied to the growing interest in Project Caldes, particularly the work 'L’Aigua i la Forma' by Javier Balmaseda, showcased at the centre.
“More and more people are visiting this space and taking the opportunity to discover the exhibitions at Espai Caldes,” Closa remarked.
This trend, according to Closa, highlights the synergy between the various attractions in the historic area and contributes to an increase in cultural activities. Since the beginning of the year, the cultural facility has welcomed a total of 8,043 visitors, with 801 of those in September alone. These figures reflect the public's interest in the offerings at the venue and bolster the Comú's commitment to providing a cultural programme that energises the parish.
With these results, the Comú of Escaldes-Engordany reaffirms its intention to continue enhancing Espai Caldes as a meeting point for art, culture, and the community, while also valuing its location in an environment that combines heritage, public space, and cultural activity.
