The Centre Cultural El Carme in Badalona is set to inaugurate La Tercera, a new exhibition space dedicated to local artists and entities, on 29 October at 19:00. This initiative aims to provide a meeting point for Badalona's artists and organisations to share their stories, projects, and activities with the community.
La Tercera seeks to highlight the richness of the local associative and artistic fabric, emphasising its role in shaping the collective identity of Badalona. The opening exhibition, titled “30 years of burning Badalona – Bufons del Foc”, commemorates the three-decade journey of the Bufons del Foc, an entity deeply rooted in the city's popular and festive culture.
This exhibition invites visitors to explore the history of the Bufons del Foc and their contribution to preserving the tradition of fire and local celebrations in Badalona. It also serves as an opportunity to recognise the efforts of local entities in promoting and safeguarding traditions while energising community life.
The exhibition will be open to the public until 29 November 2026. With the launch of La Tercera, the Centre Cultural El Carme reaffirms its commitment to supporting local culture and the artists and organisations of Badalona.
