The town of La Seu d'Urgell, along with the Espai Ermengol-City Museum, is set to organise the second edition of the Dry Stone Training Days. This event is dedicated to the study, preservation, and practice of the traditional construction technique, which was recognised as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 2018.
The goal of the workshops is to pass on this ancestral craft, which involves fitting stones together without the use of mortar or cement, to prevent its disappearance and raise awareness of its crucial role in conserving the natural environment, biodiversity, and the landscape of the Pyrenees.
