The Rafael Azcona Municipal Library is hosting the exhibition 'Niebla en las redes' from today until 30 November. This exhibition, produced by the Moroccan Workers and Immigrants Association (ATIM), consists of 15 landscape-format posters measuring 70 x 60 centimetres. The posters present information and documentary references aimed at analysing and contrasting various claims about immigration.
Sources used in the exhibition include the European Central Bank, the Bank of Spain, the European Union, the Ombudsman, the National Statistics Institute (INE), the Economic and Social Council (CES), and the newspaper El País. Through this initiative, ATIM seeks to promote reflection on the importance of verifying information, particularly in the digital realm, and the role of access to reliable sources in fostering a respectful coexistence.
ATIM emphasises the need to promote rigorous information and constructive dialogue. The association hopes that the exhibition will provide the public with data and arguments that encourage reflection on immigration.
The exhibition is open to all and includes free guided tours for groups, educational centres, and cultural associations, available by request at 941 24 58 11. These tours will take place from Tuesday to Friday, between 10:00 and 13:30. Visitors can also attend individually without prior appointment during the library's regular opening hours: Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 21:00, and Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 20:00.
