Sandá CB L’Hospitalet suffers defeat against Espanyol Cornellà

Sandá CB L’Hospitalet experienced another setback with a 97-76 defeat against Espanyol Cornellà, who have emerged as a formidable rival this season. A strong performance in the third quarter by the home team left L’Hospitalet with little chance of recovery.

The match began with a competitive first quarter, where both teams exchanged leads. By the second quarter, Espanyol Cornellà managed to extend their lead, yet L’Hospitalet remained in contention, trailing 42-33 at halftime.

However, the game took a decisive turn after the break. The blanquiazules (white and blue) delivered an impressive 39-16 run in the third quarter, effectively sealing the match. Despite this, L’Hospitalet fought back in the final quarter, managing to win it but ultimately failing to change the outcome.

This defeat marks the third consecutive loss for L’Hospitalet in their visits to Cornellà, including two in the Catalan League and this latest in the 3a FEB division. With two wins and two losses at home, L’Hospitalet appears to be finding some stability, but they have yet to secure a victory on the road.

As the league promises to be competitive, Sandá CB L’Hospitalet must regroup and prepare for their next challenge against Zuera at home.
