This weekend, the José María Rodero Municipal Theatre in Torrejón de Ardoz will present three diverse performances. On Friday, 30 October, at 20:00, the comedy 'Cosas de papá y mamá' will take the stage. Written by Alfonso Paso and performed by the Asociación Grupo Alfonso Paso, the play revolves around Leandro and Elena, two widowed individuals who fall in love despite their children's objections. The production promises humorous situations while reflecting on the importance of affection and companionship at any age.
On Saturday, 31 October, also at 20:00, the contemporary circus show 'TENET' will be featured, presented by Eunoia Kolektiva. Eight acrobats will defy gravity with their incredible balances, impossible movements, and surprising body games, all accompanied by live music. This visually stunning performance encourages the audience to change their perspective, question what they believe they see, and be swept away by the strength, precision, and creativity of the human body.
Finally, on Sunday, 1 November, at 19:00, dancers Daniel Abreu and Diego Pazó will perform 'Es aquí', a contemporary dance piece that explores themes of uprooting, identity, and the need to find a place where one feels they belong. Through movement, light, and body language, this intimate and poetic experience invites spectators to pause, look inward, and reflect on what it truly means to feel at home.
Tickets can be purchased at the theatre box office from Thursday to Sunday between 18:00 and 20:00, with additional hours on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 to 14:00. Tickets are also available two hours before each performance. The theatre has a ticket vending machine located at the Casa de Cultura, which operates on a wider schedule. Purchases can be made by card without any commission. Reservations can be made by calling 91 677 22 35 from Thursday to Sunday between 16:00 and 18:00, or via email at teatrojmroderoreservaentradas@gmail.com during the first twenty days of each quarter.
