The Central Library Xavier Amorós in Reus is set to showcase an exhibition by artist Paula Cabello Solé from 30 October to 13 November. This exhibition is part of the 22nd mostra d'art jove, an initiative aimed at promoting young artistic talent in the Conca de Barberà region.
The display features a series of charcoal portraits that highlight the artistic sensitivity and expressive capacity of Cabello, one of the young creators involved in this project. The exhibition is part of the Hexágono de Art Jove exchange and itinerancy programme, which is supported by the Youth Services of the Tarragona district, the Youth Department of Reus City Council, and the Baix Camp Youth Office, alongside the Territorial Youth Coordination.
This initiative aims to encourage the mobility of artworks and young artists across participating regions, creating new opportunities for exposure and bringing emerging artistic creation to wider audiences. Cabello's inclusion in Reus reinforces the mostra d'art jove's role within this inter-regional network, which seeks to promote youth artistic creation and facilitate spaces for dissemination and connection among emerging creators.
Through initiatives like this, the Youth Services of the Tarragona district continue to support youth artistic creation, fostering visibility, collaboration, and the circulation of work, while strengthening cooperative efforts between regions to nurture young talent. The exhibition will be open to the public free of charge during the library's regular opening hours.
