Tourism students explore new trends in the sector

Students from the Degree in Tourism participated in the III Tourism Convention of the Region of Murcia, DESTINO.RM, to gain first-hand insights into the latest trends in the sector and connect with professionals from leading tourism companies. The event, held at the Hotel Santos Nelva in Murcia under the theme 'Innovation, strategy and experiences to boost tourism in the Region of Murcia', provided students with an opportunity to engage with the challenges and opportunities facing the tourism industry.

Key topics discussed included new marketing models, digitalisation, and the use of data and artificial intelligence in the management of destinations and tourism establishments. Accompanied by professors Pilar Jiménez and Andrés Artal, the students explored these trends and learned from representatives of some of the sector's major companies.
