The councillor for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Ángel Niño, attended Tech Show Madrid 2026, a key event for the technology and business sectors, taking place at IFEMA Madrid. Niño remarked, “Tech Show Madrid turns the capital into the southern European hub for discovering new solutions, sharing experiences, and analysing trends that are transforming business digitalisation.”

The Madrid Innovation initiative, aimed at fostering technological innovation programmes, has a stand in Hall 3, showcasing its services and the potential of its ecosystem. Niño emphasised that “Madrid is an especially competitive hub for scalable tech projects,” noting that the city is home to more than 1,800 tech companies, which together provide over 30,700 jobs and generate nearly €5 billion in annual revenue.

Additionally, 28 startups from the Madrid ecosystem are exhibiting their projects at the municipal stand, demonstrating how they are developing and growing in the capital. These emerging companies hail from municipal centres such as Puerta Innovación, International Lab, and Madrid Innovation Lab, focusing on areas including artificial intelligence, data, predictive analytics, financial and knowledge management, social impact, education, and health.

Organised by CloserStill Media, Tech Show Madrid is expected to attract 30,000 visitors, feature over 500 exhibitors, and host 450 speakers. The event brings together companies and professionals to explore the latest trends and innovations in fields such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, big data, artificial intelligence, data centres, e-commerce, digital marketing, and technologies applied to human resources.
