The Centre Cívic Migjorn in Reus will host the Tunnel of Terror, a popular horror event organised by the Youth Department, on 24 and 25 October. The event aims to decentralise youth activities and engage the local community in the Fortuny neighbourhood.
This year marks the 13th edition of the Tunnel of Terror, titled "Fear awakens again." A group of around fifty young people from the city have been working since early October to create the show, which includes scriptwriting, character development, and set design, under the artistic guidance of actor and set designer Alex Manríquez.
The event promises a revamped experience, featuring an array of characters designed to thrill audiences. Participants will utilise makeup, costumes, and lighting and sound effects to create a chilling atmosphere, immersing visitors in a world where darkness and fear take centre stage.
Tickets for the event can be collected in person at the Casal de Joves de La Palma until 22 October, from 10:00 to 14:00 and 16:30 to 19:00, or until supplies last. Additional tickets will also be available on 23 October at the Centre Cívic Migjorn throughout the day, as well as during the event on the weekend. To obtain a ticket, attendees are required to donate three litres of milk, which will be given to the Reus Food Bank.
The event is recommended for ages 12 and above, and the route through the Centre Cívic Migjorn is accessible for individuals with reduced mobility. Entry will be via the access on Riera de l’Escorial, 24.
This activity is supported by the Generalitat de Catalunya through the Department of Territory, Housing, and Ecological Transition as part of the Catalonia 2025-2029 Urban Areas and Villages Plan.
