The Cosme Toda gardens are set to welcome the autumn season with a series of engaging activities that include magic, circus performances, dance, music, and nature. On 7 and 15 November, the Sant Josep neighbourhood will feature a special programme designed for families and the community, themed 'A space to experience it'.
This initiative, driven by the local council and Bipolart, aims to foster coexistence, participation, and vibrant public spaces. The first event will take place on Saturday, starting with a community planting session from 10 am to 1 pm. Residents are invited to help plant shrubs and flowers in the newly created green spaces of the Cosme Toda island, contributing to a greener and more pleasant neighbourhood. Participants will also receive a small plant as a gift.
The programme will continue from 12 pm to 1 pm with 'Cosme Toda does magic!', a participatory magic show by MagiaBCN, promising surprises, excitement, and fun for the whole family.
The second event is scheduled for Sunday, 15 November, featuring 'Street of the Arts', a day dedicated to circus, dance, and music. Activities will kick off at 11 am with a family circus workshop led by Ska Circus. At 12.30 pm, contemporary dance will take the stage with Kernel Dance Theater, followed by the circus show 'Rutinas' presented by the Ambidós company at 1 pm. Music will also play a significant role with a DJ session by Kongo at 1.30 pm. The day will resume at 5 pm with 'TROS', a circus performance by the Sputniks company.
These two days are an opportunity for the community to come together, share experiences, and enjoy family time in a lively atmosphere.
