Jaume Anglada sells out concert at Teatre Principal in Palma

Jaume Anglada has sold out his concert titled "Trenta anys després, al Principal," which is scheduled for Saturday, 7 November, at 19:00 in the Sala Gran of the Teatre Principal in Palma. Tickets were snapped up a week ago, a month ahead of the performance, marking it as one of the most well-received shows of the 2026/2027 season.

Llorenç Galmés, President of the Consell de Mallorca, expressed his congratulations to the artist, stating, "For a concert to sell out a month in advance speaks volumes about the affection people have for Jaume Anglada. It is a joy that his return to the stage takes place at the Teatre Principal, which belongs to all Mallorcans, and that the public has responded in this way." He added, "It is a pride to see the hall full for an artist from our land, who has provided the soundtrack to the lives of many people for thirty years."

This concert marks Anglada's return to the stage after more than a year of enforced hiatus, and he is performing in the theatre of his hometown, where he has always dreamed of seeing his name. In recent days, the artist visited the theatre to personally hang the "sold out" sign in a special meeting with the venue's management.

The Palma-born singer and composer will celebrate three decades of his career by revisiting his songs and sharing some of the highlights of his journey. With hundreds of songs and ten albums to his name, Anglada will share thirty years of anecdotes and music from the stage, accompanied by Sergio Llopis (piano), Teo Salvà (drums), Juan Antonio Torrandell (double bass), and Jaume Blázquez (trumpet).

The performance, lasting approximately 90 minutes, will be delivered in both Catalan and Spanish and is produced by Grup Trui. As is customary with events at the Teatre Principal, the concert will also feature a free childcare service, Principal Menut, staffed by qualified personnel.
