The terror passage at Parc Mediterrani in Marratxí has successfully hosted an immersive medieval experience, drawing over 800 participants on Friday. Organised by the Marratxí Town Hall, the event transformed the park into a terrifying forest, featuring various scenes and characters that surprised attendees throughout the journey.
The central attraction of the day was a terror passage designed and executed by the Dimonis de Factoria de So. Participants navigated a medieval-themed itinerary filled with frightening situations, characterised characters, and special effects, creating an immersive experience that combined performance, set design, and audience participation.
Targeted primarily at teenagers and young people aged 12 and above, the event also welcomed families and residents of all ages. For several hours, one of the municipality's public spaces was transformed into a scene of horror and fantasy.
The Mayor of Marratxí, Jaume Llompart, remarked, "During this evening, we enjoyed a magical and emotional experience, with a medieval setting that allowed us to experience terror in a different way, share moments among people of various ages, and enjoy the public spaces of the municipality."
Meanwhile, the Councillor for Youth, Carlota Ariza, highlighted the creative aspect of the event. "We wanted to offer more than just a tour. The setting, characters, and different scenes allow participants to engage in a collective experience that combines entertainment, creativity, and youth participation."
This celebration is part of the municipal programming aimed at providing spaces for social interaction, promoting healthy leisure alternatives, and facilitating the involvement of adolescents and young people in cultural and recreational activities.
