Lanzarote Fashion Weekend to showcase local talent and renowned designers

Lanzarote is gearing up for the upcoming Lanzarote Fashion Weekend, which will bring together nearly twenty fashion brands and industry professionals. The programme, organised by the Cabildo of Lanzarote and La Graciosa through the Industry and Lanzarote Moda Department, will feature training sessions, fashion shows, and exhibition and sales spaces.

The festivities will commence on Thursday, 29 October, at 19:00 with a Fashion Talk at the Arrecife Gran Hotel. This discussion will feature designer María Escoté, known for her vibrant designs and connection to pop culture, alongside Raquel García Hammerhoj, founder of Hammerhoj Design, whose work blends contemporary design, craftsmanship, and elements of Canary Island cultural heritage.

The Multicines Atlántida in Arrecife will host the fashion shows and market on 6 and 7 November. This year’s event will include brands such as Ángel Cabrera, Macaronesia, Migongo, Viviana Bassetti, Milagro Mutante, Rosa Delgado, Almagre, and Famara Spirit, offering a range of fashion, accessories, and crafts.

Additionally, the event will feature Canarian model Aida Artiles and Lanzarote native Jesús Lemes as ambassadors. Students from the textile training cycle at IES Tías will also participate, aiming to connect students with designers and industry professionals.

The Lanzarote Fashion Weekend 2026 aims to highlight the creative talent of Lanzarote and foster professional connections within the sector. The event will be free of charge and is organised in collaboration with Proexca and Turismo Lanzarote.
