The Navarre government and the EH Bildu-Nafarroa parliamentary group have reached an agreement that ensures the approval of the Navarre accounts for the upcoming year. The agreement outlines priorities in key areas such as taxation, territorial cohesion, social rights, health, education, and culture.
This accord follows weeks of discussions aimed at identifying consensus points among the priorities of all parties involved. The document includes a commitment from the Navarre government, represented by its parliamentary groups and EH Bildu-Nafarroa, to support all previously agreed amendments and to oppose any amendments not endorsed by them, unless a unanimous decision is made to vote otherwise.
In turn, the EH Bildu-Nafarroa parliamentary group has pledged to oppose any total amendments that may be presented by other parliamentary groups and to facilitate the approval of the Foral Law Project for the General Budgets of Navarre for 2027.
As is customary, the Navarre government and the EH Bildu-Nafarroa parliamentary group have agreed to establish a monitoring committee to oversee the implementation of the commitments made and to evaluate their degree of compliance.
