The Francisco Nieva Auditorium in Valdepeñas is set to open its doors this Thursday, 5 November, at 21:00, for the performance of the comedy 'La pasión infinita'. The production stars Pepón Nieto, alongside Claudio Tolcachir, Ana Labordeta, and Avelino Piedad, under the direction of José Troncoso.
'La pasión infinita' is part of the Autumn Cultural Programme organised by the Valdepeñas City Council. The play tells the story of José Antonio, a man who dreams of becoming an actor despite lacking the talent for it. When he stumbles upon a casting call, he decides to give it a shot and, much to everyone's surprise, he is selected.
The narrative blends humour and emotion, exploring themes of dreams, vocation, and the lengths one is willing to go to pursue their passion. Ultimately, 'La pasión infinita' is a tale about someone ready to sacrifice everything in the pursuit of their dream, even when talent does not align with their aspirations.
Tickets are available for €15 and can be purchased at the Cultural Centre 'La Confianza', on www.giglon.com, and at the theatre box office one hour before the performance.
