The fourth edition of the Raid clásicos del Atlas Galicia is set to take place on Saturday, 7 November, at the Municipal Autocross Circuit in Carballo, with 64 teams participating. The event was announced by the mayor, Daniel Pérez, alongside other officials including the Sports Councillor, Daniel Barreiro, Quique Martínez from the organising committee, and Juan Fernández of Escudería Coruña.
This raid offers a day of photographic regularity for cars and 4x4 vehicles, where precision, navigation, and teamwork between drivers and co-drivers will be key. The total route will cover 210.96 kilometres, with 92.48 kilometres divided into 18 regularity sectors across two stages between Carballo and Touro.
“Doubling the participation from the first edition’s 30 to 64 teams shows that this event resonates with fans. We are very pleased with the response and would like to thank the Concello de Carballo for their support and assistance in organising the event,” said Quique Martínez.
Mayor Daniel Pérez highlighted the potential of sports to attract visitors, stating, “Hosting this event is an opportunity to share our passion for motorsport and for more people to discover Carballo. We want participants and their companions to enjoy the day and leave wanting to return.”
Daniel Barreiro emphasised the collaborative efforts that make such events possible, noting, “Collaboration with local entities and the organising team allows us to continue expanding Carballo’s sports offerings. There is a significant effort behind each event that deserves our recognition and support.”
Juan Fernández stressed the importance of organisational coordination and the spirit of the day, saying, “We want teams to enjoy the route and experience camaraderie around motorsport. Precision and teamwork within each vehicle will be essential.”
