A Coruña is set to host the iconic rock band Scorpions on 2 May 2027 as part of their international 'Love, Peace & Rock 'N' Roll Tour 2027'. This concert marks the band's return to the city following their performance in 2023 as part of the Coruña Sounds festival.

Scorpions, who have sold over 100 million records worldwide, are renowned for their anthems such as 'Rock You Like a Hurricane', 'Still Loving You', 'No One Like You', 'Blackout', and 'Wind of Change'. The band is considered one of the most significant names in rock history and has a strong international following.

Inés Rey, the mayor of A Coruña, emphasised the importance of this event for the city. She stated, "The arrival of Scorpions is another demonstration of A Coruña's ability to attract major names in international music. We are talking about a historic band, recognised worldwide and with several generations of fans, who will once again turn the Coliseum into a meeting point for thousands of people from Galicia and beyond."

Rey also noted that hosting such concerts is part of the city's commitment to becoming a cultural and event hub in the northwest of Spain. She added, "These types of events have a significant cultural, tourist, and economic impact, as well as helping to project the city's image beyond our borders."

Tickets for the concert will go on sale on 6 November at 11:00 AM through the Route Resurrection platform and Enterticket. The Scorpions concert is part of an extensive musical programme already confirmed for 2027 at the Coliseum, which will also feature performances by Kase.O on 16 January, Sergio Dalma on 23 January, Abraham Cupeiro with the Galician Symphony Orchestra on 29 January, Cano on 29 May, and David Bisbal on 4 June.
