Burela council has congratulated the Fanto Fantini Cultural Association, organiser of the Osa do Mar Festival, for receiving the award in the Best Cultural or Musical Event category at the second edition of the PALCO Awards. The ceremony took place on 3 November at the Sala Capitol in Santiago de Compostela.
These awards, organised by the Galician Association of Musical Enterprises (AGEM) in collaboration with the Xunta de Galicia, through the Galician Agency for Cultural Industries (AGADIC) and the Xacobeo Concerts, recognise excellence in the Galician music industry.
The award highlights the dedication and enthusiasm of the young people who make each edition of the Osa do Mar possible. This festival has become a cultural landmark for Burela, bringing the municipality's name to the forefront of Galicia.
The council expressed gratitude for the association's commitment to cultural dynamism in the town and encouraged residents to continue supporting initiatives like this that make Burela a hub for music and culture.
