Teruel highlighted its tourism, cultural, and gastronomic offerings in Madrid, engaging with travel agencies, industry professionals, and media representatives in an event supported by the Government of Aragón.
The promotional initiative, designed as a dynamic professional workshop, brought together a diverse group of travel agencies and local media keen to discover the main tourist attractions of the three provinces of Aragón.
Eduardo Suárez, the councillor for Tourism at the Teruel City Council, attended the event alongside a tourism unit technician to enhance Teruel's positioning as a diverse, sustainable, and experiential destination. The city aims to offer cultural, natural, and scientific proposals appealing to both national and international audiences.
During the promotional event, Teruel showcased a range of resources that establish the city and its surroundings as a key tourist destination. Highlights included the Mudéjar art, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site; the universal story of the Lovers of Teruel; Modernism; key festivals and traditions; natural and scenic wealth; hiking and tourist routes; as well as unique attractions like Dinópolis.
The event took place at the ABC venue on Calle Serrano, 61, and is part of the institutional and tourism campaign “Aragón, the place to experience everything,” launched by the Government of Aragón to promote the cultural, natural, heritage, and gastronomic diversity of the region.
The campaign aims to highlight the attractions of the three provinces of Aragón, specifically the Mudéjar dynamism and heritage of Zaragoza, the mountain, snow, and adventure tourism of Huesca, and the architectural and historical richness of Teruel.
