In October 1986, the Juan Prado Cultural Centre was inaugurated, establishing itself as a key player in the cultural landscape of Valdemoro. Over the years, generations of residents have visited the centre to borrow books, study, view exhibitions, discover theatre, attend concerts, or take to the stage for the first time.
Now, four decades later, the centre continues to witness the cultural evolution of the municipality. It serves as a meeting point for the arts and literature, housing an exhibition hall, a municipal theatre, one of the three municipal libraries, and the offices of the Department of Culture.
