The Citizen Participation Department of Molina de Segura has unveiled a series of new activities for November as part of the programme ‘In Molina, Culture Goes to Neighbourhoods, Districts and Urbanisations’, which will conclude this month. After several months of programming, the initiative underscores the local government's commitment to making culture accessible to all areas, allowing residents to enjoy cultural offerings close to home.

The November agenda includes a blend of music, theatre, workshops, and cultural tours, designed to engage residents in the cultural life of their neighbourhoods. Highlights include performances by Coro Xolo Voces Blancas with ‘Reencuentros’, the Cuadrilla El Soto de los Álamos with ‘La cuadrilla sale de ronda’, and Replay Band.

Additionally, the programme features new sessions of the workshop ‘Action: brief theatre workshop’ by Juega Crea Expresa, as well as an introductory class on castanets led by Lola Cerón. Another notable event is ‘The Route of Forgotten Women’, organised by the Cultural Association Myrtus, which will offer an urban tour through the Barrio de Fátima.

Activities will take place in the neighbourhoods of San Antonio, San Roque, El Chorrico, El Romeral-Campo, and Punta de Lugar, ensuring a presence in various community gathering spaces. The 2026 edition involves the participation of 38 local associations, which have selected activities for their respective areas from a catalogue of artists and performances. The result is a programme comprising approximately 170 activities across diverse disciplines, catering to a wide range of audiences.

Antonio Martínez, the Councillor for Citizen Participation, highlighted the vital role of local associations in this edition, stating, “Their involvement allows us to create a programme more closely linked to the realities of each neighbourhood. I want to thank them for their collaboration, as their engagement is essential for the programme's continued growth and improvement.”
