Torremolinos is making its mark in London through a promotional campaign that runs on the iconic red buses of the British capital. This initiative, which is part of the town's strategy to attract British tourists, aims to generate close to three million impressions throughout November.
The campaign, titled 'Tremendo Torremolinos', showcases the town's unique identity and essence, presenting a contemporary and authentic view of the popular Costa del Sol destination. The initiative coincides with the World Travel Market, the world's leading tourism fair, which takes place from 3 to 5 November.
As part of the campaign, the buses are adorned with vibrant images and include a QR code that links directly to a promotional video. Additionally, the video is being displayed on a digital screen at The Landmark London Bridge, a prominent promotional space in the city, where it is estimated to achieve 105,408 impressions over four days.
The promotional efforts highlight Torremolinos' diversity, culture, and unique character, emphasising its roots, history, and contemporary lifestyle. The campaign aims to project an image of Torremolinos as a genuine, modern, and surprising destination that looks to the future while honouring its past.
The World Travel Market serves as a platform for destinations, travel agencies, hotels, airlines, and tour operators to network, showcase innovations, and forge business partnerships.
