The Local Government Board of Ciudad Real has initiated a project for a comprehensive reform of the existing sports court in the San Vicente de Paúl area. The initiative will have an estimated budget of €36,000 and aims to address demands raised by residents through various citizen participation channels.
In the same session, the board approved the procurement of furniture and equipment for the Casa de la Cultura, with a budget of €258,000. Additionally, the acquisition of two new electric vacuum cleaners for the street cleaning department was sanctioned, amounting to €50,000.
Furthermore, the Local Government Board has approved the public employment offer for 2026, which includes a total of 25 positions, five of which are designated for the Local Police to enhance public safety. This offer received unanimous support from all trade unions within the council prior to its processing.
