The performance of ‘Espigues, raïms i magranes. I tu?’ is set to take place on Saturday, 7 November at 12:00 in the Els Carlins theatre, featuring a unique itinerant format. This event marks the return of the ‘MOU-TEatre. Arts escèniques, inclusió i transformació social’ project, which focuses on a profound reflection on community.
Under the title ‘Espigues, raïms i magranes. I tu?’, this collective creation weaves together testimonies, experiences, and analyses to create an artistic journey that prompts spectators to reflect on their memories, thoughts, desires, and the role of community in contemporary society.
The performance will be held in the Els Carlins theatre, and while admission is free, prior reservation is required. Attendees are advised to bring their mobile phones and headphones to fully engage with the show.
Creative process and community involvement
The creative process, which began in September under the guidance of Cia. Sargantana, has involved a diverse group of participants from various age groups and backgrounds. This edition has been enriched by two parallel processes led by the Cor de Dones and a group of young people from AMPANS, who have contributed fresh perspectives and artistic materials.
To convey the reflections on community, the project departs from conventional staging, opting for an itinerant format that encourages engagement with the audience.
A cross-cutting social transformation project
MOU-TEatre is a collaborative initiative between the Culture and Language, Social Rights, Childhood and Youth, and Cooperation departments of the Manresa City Council. Its aim is to establish an interdisciplinary workspace that harnesses the potential of the performing arts to foster civic debate, promote interaction among different sectors of the population, and critically address the challenges of contemporary society.
The event is co-organised by Cia. Sargantana, Els Carlins, and the Manresa City Council.
