The José María Rodero Municipal Theatre in Torrejón de Ardoz is set to host a weekend of cultural events, featuring three notable performances. On Friday, 6 November, at 20:00, the 3rd Flamenco Festival will take place, organised by the Cultural Association Peña Flamenca El Quejío as part of the initiative 'Los viernes son nuestros'. This event offers a chance to appreciate the rich tradition and talent of flamenco art.
On Saturday, 7 November, also at 20:00, the gala for the Reyes Abades Short Film Competition titled '3, 2, 1... Action!' will be held. The Impromadrid company will bring creativity, humour, and spontaneity to the event, allowing the audience to enjoy improvised theatrical shorts. Admission is free with an invitation, which can be collected at the theatre box office starting 5 November, limited to two per person.
Finally, on Sunday, 8 November, at 19:00, actors Malena Alterio and Carmen Ruiz will star in 'La vida extraordinaria', a poignant play that explores the lives of two friends whose ordinary existence is transformed by friendship and literature. This intimate narrative reflects on personal connections and the essence of life.
Tickets for the performances can be purchased at the theatre box office from Thursday to Sunday, between 18:00 and 20:00, with additional hours on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 to 14:00. Tickets can also be collected two hours before each show. The theatre features a ticket vending machine at the Casa de Cultura, where purchases can be made by card without commission.
