The Lleida Tourism Board's summer campaign has made its way to the steps of the Plaza de Catalunya station in Barcelona this September. This initiative is one of the final promotional efforts for the summer season, which has also included advertising on Barcelona's trams, the bus line connecting the city to El Prat Airport, as well as digital screens in Madrid, Valencia, Palma, and Navarra. Additionally, billboards have been placed in Lleida city, Pont de Suert, Tremp, and Montferrer and Castellbò.
Throughout the summer, radio spots and television advertisements have been aired, alongside pages, inserts, and online banners in major media outlets and digital platforms. Between June and September, around thirty articles highlighting the tourist offerings of the Pyrenees and Terres de Lleida have been published in newspapers and magazines across Catalonia, the rest of Spain, and France.
Juli Alegre, the director of the Tourism Board, stated that the campaign was executed with a budget of approximately €600,000. He noted that this is the first campaign to feature the new slogan: 'Ahora Lleida, con toda naturalidad' (Now Lleida, with complete naturalness). Alegre emphasised that this creative concept aims to convey the authenticity of the destination, its landscapes, its people, and the experiences available in Lleida.
Alegre also revealed that filming for the autumn campaign took place last week, which is set to launch in October. This upcoming campaign will focus on highlighting the attractions of the Pyrenees and Terres de Lleida during the autumn season, aiming to reinforce the region's reputation for offering top-quality nature, culture, active tourism, and gastronomy.
