The autumn cultural programme in Sagunto continues this week with two notable events. The Crit theatre company will present a play, while the Valencian music group Tardor will host a concert. Both events are organised by the Culture Department of the Sagunto City Council.
The Crit company will perform the comedy Pobres in Valencian on Friday, 23 October at 20:30 in the Casa Municipal de Cultura. The play lasts 75 minutes and is suitable for all audiences, with tickets priced at €7. Pobres explores the complex, contradictory, and bittersweet aspects of human nature that lie behind stereotypes and prejudices, using comedy as a means to engage the audience through laughter.
Meanwhile, the music group Tardor will hold their concert on Saturday, 24 October at 20:00 in the Centro Cultural Mario Monreal. This pop-rock performance will last 90 minutes, with tickets available for €9. The group will perform songs including Hi havia una ciutat, released in September 2025 and featured on their album La vida com un joc, marking their return after a five-year hiatus.
In addition to the weekly programme, various cultural spaces in the municipality continue to host diverse exhibitions. The Casa Municipal de Cultura is currently showcasing El valor de lo cotidiano from the Ateneo del Puerto until 30 October. The Centro Cultural Mario Monreal features the exhibition Pinturas exóticas para corazones noctámbulos by Darío Oltra, available until 31 October. Lastly, the Centro Cívico Antiguo Sanatorio is hosting an exhibition celebrating the 75th anniversary of Fertiberia BM Puerto Sagunto until 12 November.
