The Carandía local council has organised a series of family activities to commemorate the San Martín festival, taking place on 11 and 15 November. This initiative is supported by the Festival Committee and the La Rosa de los Cuentos Association.
On Wednesday, 11 November, a mass in honour of Saint Martin will be held at 18:00, followed by the distribution of chocolate and cakes for attendees at the Casa de la Maestra.
On Sunday, 15 November, the old school will host a family lantern workshop at 17:00, with a nominal fee of 2 euros, which will include a tasting of roasted chestnuts. Later, at 18:00, shadow theatre will be presented at the Casa de la Maestra, depicting the story of San Martín along with a traditional lantern procession around the area.
