Junta de Extremadura increases stable employment aid by 5 million euros, totalling 37 million

The Junta de Extremadura has expanded its financial allocation for grants aimed at promoting stable employment and reducing labour costs for businesses in the region by five million euros. This increase, announced on 30 October in the Diario Oficial de Extremadura (DOE), raises the overall budget for the 2025/2026 call to 37 million euros.

The management of this grant scheme falls under the purview of the Ministry of Economy, Employment and Digital Transformation, through the Extremadura Public Employment Service (SEXPE).

Distribution of funds

The additional five million euros results from a modification of the initially assigned credits, which are distributed between the financial years 2025 and 2026. Of the total amount, 35.5 million euros are allocated to grants under Regulation (EU) 2023/2831 of the Commission, while 1.5 million euros are designated for grants regulated by Regulation (EU) 1408/2013.

The call for applications was approved by a resolution on 15 October 2025 and is governed by Decree 29/2024, dated 2 April, which establishes the regulatory bases for these subsidies.

Consultation of the modification

The announcement regarding the modification of the extract and the increase in credits can be accessed in the Diario Oficial de Extremadura number 210, dated 30 October 2026, as well as on the Grants Portal of the Autonomous Community.
