The cultural series known as Noviembre Suena, organised by the City Council of Alicante, will feature eight concerts throughout the month, culminating in the Festival of Bands on 22 November, coinciding with the Feast of Saint Cecilia, the patron saint of music.
This initiative aims to cater to audiences of all ages, including children, with a special performance designed to introduce young audiences to the music of Mozart.
The concerts will take place at various venues across the city, including:
- Centro Comunitario Playas
- Concha de la Explanada
- Centro Social Isla de Cuba
- Centro Cultural Las Cigarreras
- ADDA (Auditorio de Música de Alicante)
Concert schedule
- Friday, 6 November: Música y Ritmos – 18:30 hours, Asociación Cuarteto Repiques, Castañuelas concert at Centro Comunitario Playas.
- Saturday, 7 November: El Bolero Vivo – 18:30 hours, Marvin Labara, classic boleros and humour at Concha de la Explanada. Free entry, limited to capacity.
- Sunday, 8 November: California Dreamin’ – 12:00 hours, Peter Gimenez & The Free Band, a journey through the history of American rock at Concha de la Explanada. Free entry, limited to capacity.
- Saturday, 14 November: Mozart y el enano musical – 18:30 hours, La Máquina Teatro, a children’s show to experience Mozart’s music, suitable for ages 6 and up at Centro Social Isla de Cuba.
- Saturday, 14 November: Trilogy of Nature – 19:00 hours, Axiom Gravity & Benjamin Sun, a performance featuring nature images and live music at Casa de la Música, C.C Las Cigarreras.
- Sunday, 15 November: Los Sanguangos – 12:00 hours, covers of national pop/rock songs at Concha de la Explanada. Free entry, limited to capacity, no seating.
- Friday, 20 November: Piazzola. Las estaciones porteñas y el nuevo tango – 18:30 hours, Cuarteto Luminus, a music and dance show at Centro Social Isla de Cuba.
- Sunday, 22 November: XXVII Festival de Bandas de Alicante 2026 at ADDA, with morning session at 11:00 hours (doors open at 10:15 hours) and evening session at 17:30 hours (doors open at 16:45 hours). Access via ticket/invitation available on eventbrite.es.
