According to Pardo, the support from Turismo de Galicia for the Conciertos del Xacobeo serves as a strategic driver for tourism and culture, positioning Galicia as a prominent destination for live music. Over 30 events and festivals have already established themselves in Ourense, with Our Fest being a key highlight in the alternative rock scene, featuring a mix of international, national, and Galician artists.
The O Gozo Festival, launched in 2023 with backing from the Xunta through the Agencia Turismo de Galicia as part of the Conciertos del Xacobeo, has received critical acclaim and public success. The 2026 programme has already featured significant names from the international music scene, including The Kooks, Garbage, Tom Jones, Maroon 5, and Martin Garrix, who have performed at various venues across Galicia throughout the year. With Judith Hill's addition, O Gozo Festival continues to expand its line-up with internationally recognised artists.
