Andalusia's Minister of Culture, Historical Heritage and Sport, Patricia del Pozo, has presented the budget for her department for 2027, amounting to €445,439,563. This represents a 32.3% increase from the previous year, thanks to an additional €110 million.

Del Pozo stated, "These accounts reaffirm culture, historical heritage, and sport as engines for social and economic development and the improvement of the quality of life for the people of Andalusia." She emphasised the importance of presenting the budget in a timely manner, describing it as the most crucial tool for the Andalusian government to enhance citizens' lives.

The budget allows for ambitious objectives in this new legislative term, aiming to consolidate successful initiatives, address pending matters, and explore new paths. Del Pozo highlighted a commitment to strengthening cultural creation, dissemination, and access, as well as promoting sports practice and supporting grassroots and elite sports.
