The Sala Petita at the Kursaal will host a concert by the folk music group Bauma on Saturday, 7 November, at 18:00 as part of the Cicle d'Arrel. Celebrating 25 years of musical heritage, Bauma will present their latest work, ‘Brots’, which features a collection of traditional dance pieces that trace the journey from the primal instincts of the earth to the sophistication of salon music, culminating in a contemporary fusion.
The concert will be structured into four musical blocks, engaging both the audience and dancers, and exploring the history of the individual as part of a community. This thematic journey reflects the evolution of collective celebration.
Bauma consists of members Llúcia Ventura, Estíbaliz Bonastre, Gemma Olivé, Oscar Ruiz, Tatiana Bonastre, Julià Pérez, Ramon Navarro, and Sebastien Giner. The concert will have unnumbered seating and a limited capacity, ensuring an intimate experience. Tickets are priced at €15, with a reduced price of €12 available for holders of the Carnet Galliner, seniors over 65, and those under 30. Tickets can be purchased at the Kursaal box office or online at www.kursaal.cat.
