The Sónar electronic music festival has unveiled the initial lineup for its next edition, set to take place from 17 to 18 June 2027. Following a marketing campaign that hinted at its demise, the festival has announced a revival with a new structure.
The 2027 edition will reintroduce the division between Sónar by Day, which will be hosted at an undisclosed location along Barcelona's waterfront, and Sónar by Night, which will continue at the Granvia exhibition centre in L'Hospitalet.
Among the thirty artists confirmed for the 2027 festival are renowned DJ Carl Cox, returning to Sónar more than twenty years after his last performance, the group Bonobo with a new album, DJ Oscar Mulero, and Dominican artist Tokischa, known for her collaborations with Rosalía and Madonna.
